Action Sets in Forms: One Trigger Surface, One Place for Logic

Action Sets are now selectable directly inside the Form Builder — the same reusable Actions you use everywhere else in Paminga now drive what happens when a form is submitted.

This one is short and overdue.

If you've followed our Action Sets story at all, you already know the model: one set of Global and Conditional Actions, reused everywhere — Zapier triggers, Calendly events, CSV imports, LinkedIn Lead Forms, Workato Recipes, Workflow Action nodes. Forms are now in that list.

What Changed

Open any Form in the Form Builder, head to the "When your form is submitted" step, and you'll see a control to pick an existing Action Set. Pick one, and that Action Set runs on every submission — Global Actions for everyone, Conditional Actions for the contacts that match each branch.

That's the whole change. No more rebuilding the same post-submission logic across five different forms.

What This Lets You Do

  • Standardize post-submission behavior across families of forms — every webinar registration form points at the same "Webinar Registered" Action Set
  • Update logic in one place when the motion changes — edit the Action Set, every form using it picks up the change
  • Match your form submissions to your other triggers — a Calendly demo booking and a contact-us form submission can run through the exact same Action Set if that's what your motion calls for

❌ Don't rebuild the same Actions in every form's "When Submitted" step.
✅ Do define them once as an Action Set and point every relevant form at it.

Plus: Where Used for Action Sets

We shipped this alongside Where Used for Action Sets. Click the Where Used icon on any Action Set and you see every form, Workflow, Zapier hook, Calendly Event Type, and CSV import pipeline that runs through it. Deletion is blocked while an Action Set is in use anywhere.

The combination matters. Reuse is only safe when you can see all the dependencies — and now you can.

Get Started

  1. Open a Form that has post-submission logic you'd reuse — or pick the one whose logic you've copy-pasted across three other forms
  2. Build an Action Set with that logic at Marketing Center → Action Sets
  3. Open the Form Builder, head to "When your form is submitted," and select the Action Set
  4. Point your other forms at the same Action Set

Read the Action Sets docs for the full list of trigger sources.
