Create or Update Contacts
The Create/Update a Contact in CRM action writes a Paminga contact to Spiro. Trigger it anywhere Actions fire — form submissions, workflows, contact imports, lead score thresholds, and more.
How It Works
When the action fires, Paminga matches by email address: if the contact already exists in Spiro, it's updated; if not, it's created. Either way, field-level sync follows your Field Mappings — only fields with Sync to Spiro enabled are written.
The contact's company comes along too. If the company doesn't exist in Spiro yet, Paminga creates it and links the contact to it. Contacts without a company are filed under your Default Account Name (see Integration Setup).
Assigning an Owner
When a new contact must be created, you choose who owns it in Spiro:
- Leave it unset — Spiro assigns its default owner.
- Assign to a specific Spiro User — pick from your Spiro users right in the action config.
- Assign to the owner currently assigned in Paminga — the contact's Paminga owner, resolved to their Spiro user.
For contacts that already exist in Spiro, you decide whether to keep the existing owner or change it to your selection above.
