Approval Queue

The Approval Queue is your central hub for managing the review process. It shows every asset that's waiting for review, has been reviewed, or is approved and ready to publish — all in one place.

You'll find the Approval Queue in the Marketing Center menu. A badge on the menu item tells you how many items need your attention.

Filtering the Queue

The Approval Queue supports three views, accessible from the filter dropdown:

All

The default view. Shows all items relevant to you: assets you submitted for review, assets assigned to you for review, and assets in workspaces where you're a designated approver.

Submitted by Me

Shows only the assets you've personally submitted for review. Use this to track where your content stands in the review process.

Approved, Pending Publication

Shows assets that have been approved but haven't been published yet. This is the "ready to go live" list — useful for teams that batch their publishing or have a separate person responsible for the final publish step.

Queue Columns

Each row in the queue shows:

  • Name — The asset name, linked directly to its builder so you can jump in with one click
  • Type — The kind of asset (Form, Email, etc.)
  • Status — The current publication status, displayed as a color-coded chip
  • Assigned To — The specific reviewers assigned to this asset, if any
  • Workspace — Which Workspace the asset belongs to
  • Requested — When review was requested and by whom
  • Recent Activity — The most recent action (comment, status change) and who performed it

Working from the Queue

Click any asset name to open it in its builder. From there, you can use the publication status controls to review, comment, approve, request changes, or publish — depending on your role.

For a full walkthrough of the review process, status transitions, and how to configure approvers, see Approvals.

Publication Status Controls

When approvals are enabled, asset builders display publication status controls in place of the standard Publish button. These controls adapt based on your role and the asset's current status.

For Authors

  • Request Review — Submit your asset for review, optionally selecting specific reviewers and leaving a comment
  • Comments — Open the comment thread to discuss the asset with reviewers
  • Manage Reviewers — Change who's assigned to review your asset (available while in review)
  • Withdraw — Pull the asset back to Draft if you need to make changes before review continues
  • Submit for Review — Re-submit after making requested changes

For Approvers

  • Approve — Sign off on the asset, moving it to Approved status
  • Approve & Publish — Approve and publish in a single step
  • Request Changes — Send the asset back to the author with feedback
  • Comments — Discuss the asset in the comment thread, optionally combining a comment with a status change

Status Indicators

A color-coded chip shows the current status at a glance:

  • Draft — Gray
  • Review Requested — Blue
  • Changes Requested — Red
  • Approved — Green
  • Published — Green

An unread comment badge appears on the Comments button when new comments have been added since you last viewed them. The status and comment counts update automatically while you have the builder open.
