Brand Voice Agent

The Brand Voice Agent builds and maintains a profile of your business: what your company does and how your brand sounds.

That profile is read by Paminga IQ agents across the platform, so the few minutes you spend here pay off everywhere AI touches your marketing. Generated emails, landing pages, forms, and CTAs all inherit the voice you set here.

You don't have to fill any of it in by hand. Point the Brand Voice Discovery Agent at your website and it drafts the profile for you — then you review, correct, and save.

Who you sell to lives elsewhere

Ideal Customer Profiles have their own tab and their own discovery agent. See ICPs.

The two are separate on purpose. Your company has one voice per brand, but depending on what you sell you may have many ICPs — so ICP Discovery crawls your site differently, digging much deeper into your product, solution, and industry pages.

note

Brand Voice is part of Paminga IQ. The tab appears on Settings › Account › Brands once Paminga IQ is enabled for your instance.

Running Discovery

Click Run Discovery. The agent crawls the website you specify (it defaults to your company's website URL), reads a sample of it, and pulls in your LinkedIn company page when it can find one.

You can optionally provide Additional context — free-form notes the agent should consider while reading your site. This is useful when your website undersells a part of your business, or when you want the agent to weight something specific.

A status chip shows the run's progress. When discovery completes, the sections below populate with what the agent found. Review the results, correct anything it got wrong, and click Save Brand Voice.

You can re-run discovery at any time with Run Discovery Again — for example, after a website relaunch or a repositioning. Re-running replaces what's currently in the form, so save anything you want to keep first.

Your Company & Brand Voice

The profile captures the facts and the voice of your business:

  • Company: LinkedIn URL, tagline, company description, products & services, and value propositions.
  • Brand Voice: voice descriptors, formality, vocabulary to use, vocabulary to avoid, emoji policy, and voice sample URLs.

These fields guide AI-generated content so it sounds like you — not like a generic AI. The vocabulary lists are worth a minute of attention: telling the agent which terms you always use (and which you never would) does more for on-brand output than any other setting.

Brand Voice by Brand

If you market more than one brand out of a single Paminga instance, each Brand can carry its own brand voice.

At the top of the tab, Editing Brand Voice For selects which voice you're working on:

  • Instance Default — the voice every Brand inherits unless it has its own. This is what you get out of the box, and for most accounts it's the only one you'll ever need.
  • A Brand — a voice that applies only to assets created in Workspaces attached to that Brand.

A Brand either has its own voice or it doesn't. Choose a Brand that doesn't, and Customize This Brand gives it one. Choose a Brand that does, and Revert to Instance Default takes it away again.

A New Brand Voice Starts Empty

Customizing a Brand creates an empty profile rather than a copy of your Instance Default. That's deliberate: you're separating brands precisely because they're different, and they typically run on different domains. Inheriting the parent company's tagline and value propositions would be easy to miss and would put the wrong brand's words into your copy.

Run Discovery to fill it in. When you run it for a Brand, the agent crawls that Brand's own website by default — the Website URL you gave the Brand when you created it — though you can still enter a different URL.

How Paminga Picks a Voice

When an AI agent generates an email, landing page, form, or CTA, Paminga looks at the folder the asset is being created in, walks up to its Workspace, and reads the Brand that Workspace is attached to. If that Brand has its own voice, the asset is written in it. If the Workspace has no Brand, or the Brand has no voice of its own, the asset uses the Instance Default.

A Brand voice overrides the Instance Default — the two don't merge. And a Brand voice only applies once its own discovery has succeeded, so assets created in the gap between customizing a Brand and running Discovery for it are generated without brand voice rather than in the wrong brand's voice.

tip

Your Brand Kits can also belong to a Brand, and a Brand can name a default kit. Brand Kits control how a brand looks; Brand Voice controls how it sounds. Multi-brand accounts usually want both set per Brand.

Reverting a Brand

Revert to Instance Default deletes that Brand's voice, and assets created in its Workspaces go back to inheriting the Instance Default.

Your ICPs are not affected. Neither are the ICP classifications on your Accounts — reverting a voice changes how copy sounds, nothing else.

You'll also need to revert a Brand's voice before you can delete the Brand itself. See Archiving vs. Deleting.
