Revision History
Every time you publish a email, Paminga keeps the version it replaced. Revision History puts all of them in one place, so you can look back at any earlier version of a email, roll back to it, or spin it off as a brand new email.
You don't have to plan for this or remember to save anything. If a change goes sideways after it's live, the version that worked is a couple of clicks away.
Open Revision History
Open any email in the builder and click the Revision History button (the clock icon) in the toolbar at the top of the builder, next to Undo and Redo.
The Revision History Button Sits Beside Undo and Redo:

What a Revision Shows
The Revision History dialog lists every revision of the email, newest first. Each row shows:
- Status — where that revision stands:
- Published — the version that's live right now
- Draft — your current, unpublished changes. A email has at most one draft at a time; ongoing edits update it rather than piling up new rows.
- Superseded — a version that was published and later replaced by a newer publish
- Review Requested, Changes Requested, and Approved — when your organization uses Approvals
- Revised — when the revision was last changed, and by whom
- Actions — what you can do with that revision (below)
Revision History Lists Every Published Version, Newest First:

Preview a Revision
Click the Preview (eye) icon to open a full-screen preview of that revision. Use the device toggle to check how it looked on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
The preview applies your Brand Kit as it is published today, so if the Brand Kit has changed since that revision was live, the preview reflects the current Brand Kit rather than the old one.
Restore a Revision as a Draft
Click the Restore as Draft icon to make a revision your working draft again. Paminga asks you to confirm, because restoring replaces your current draft with a copy of the revision you chose.
Restoring never touches what's live:
- The published email keeps running unchanged until you publish again.
- The revision you restored from stays in the history exactly as it was.
- The builder reloads with the restored content, ready for you to review, adjust, and publish.
Publish What You Restored
A restored revision is an ordinary draft. Publish it the same way you publish any other change. If your organization uses Approvals, it goes through review like any other draft.
Clone a Revision
Sometimes you don't want to roll back — you want both versions. Click the Clone to New Asset icon to create a separate email from that revision.
Give the clone a name (Paminga suggests the current name followed by "- Clone"), optionally choose a folder, and click Create Clone. Paminga creates the new email and opens it in the builder. The original email and its history are unaffected.
Revision History lists and restores revisions; it does not show a side-by-side comparison of two revisions. To see what changed, preview the revisions you're interested in.
