Posts
GTM is in beta. It may not be turned on for your account yet. To request access, contact Paminga Support.
The Posts tab is the full record of what your Searches found on LinkedIn: every post, how the AI rated it, and what your team did with it. Reply Guy is where people comment. Posts is where you review, sort out, and second-guess.
How a Post Gets Here
Each enabled Search runs daily at 6:00 AM Central and brings back new LinkedIn posts. Before a post is rated, Paminga sets aside duplicates, posts by excluded authors, and posts that are not in English.
Everything else is rated by AI. The rating answers four questions about the post:
- Rating. How worth a comment the post is, from 1 to 10.
- Type. Educational, thought leadership, industry news, agency promo, market spam, quote, product positioning, or other.
- Intent. Whether the author shows they are in the market: Strong, Weak, or None.
- Audience. Whether the people engaging with the post are Likely or Unlikely to be your audience.
Posts rated below your queue cutoff are hidden from Posts and Reply Guy. You set the cutoff in Setup › Rating.
Filtering the Grid
The grid opens on New posts. Use the filters above it to narrow things down:
- Search: one Search, or all of them
- Intent: Strong, Weak, None, or All
- Audience: Likely, Unlikely, or All
- Status: New, Assigned to Me, Completed, Skipped, Excluded, or All
The Excluded view shows why each hidden post was hidden.
Alongside the rating, each row shows the post's network, Search, author, type, likes, comments, assignees, status, when it was posted, and an Engagers column. Engagers either links to the people the post brought into Prospects, or tells you which rule kept them from being pulled.
Acting on a Post
Open a row's actions menu for the things you can do with a post:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Assign for Comment | Assigns the post to one or more teammates. See Assigning Posts. |
| Complete | Marks the post done. |
| Skip | Sets the post aside without a comment. |
| Reopen | Puts a completed or skipped post back in play. |
| Exclude this Author | Hides this post and every future post by its author. |
| Override Rating | Replaces the AI's rating with your own, from 1 to 10. |
| View Rating Reasoning | Shows why the AI rated the post the way it did. |
| Flag this rating | Tells Paminga the rating was wrong. See Flagging a Rating. |
| Retrieve engagers | Pulls the post's likers and commenters into Prospects now. |
| Create Contact | Creates a Contact from the author's LinkedIn profile and adds it to a workflow you choose. |
| View Contact | Opens the author's Contact, once one exists. |
| Open chat | Opens the conversation about the post with its assignees. |
Assigning Posts
Assigning a post puts it in front of the people you choose and opens a chat on the post that the assigner and every assignee share. Each new assignee is notified, and the post counts toward their Assigned to Me badge on the GTM menu.
Assignment replaces the whole set: the dialog opens with the current assignees selected, so adding a reviewer never silently removes the others.
Exclude an Author
Some people post constantly and never in a way you'd comment on. Exclude this Author stops their posts from being classified or queued from then on. The post you excluded from is set aside too; posts already in the queue are left as they are.
You can undo an exclusion in Setup › Searches › Excluded authors.
Retrieving Engagers by Hand
Engagers are normally pulled automatically when a post passes the rules in Setup › Pulling engagers. To pull them yourself, use Retrieve engagers on a row, or Retrieve Engagers above the grid and paste any LinkedIn post URL. A hand pull skips those rules.
The dialog shows progress as it runs: reaction and comment pages read, engagers seen, and prospects created. When it finishes, it tells you when the post will next be checked for new people.
Flagging a Rating
When you disagree with a rating, flag it. The flag captures the post, the rating, and the AI's reasoning, and lands on the Flagged ratings list in Setup › Rating, right next to the guidance that produced it. That's where you fix the guidance so the next post like it is rated the way you'd expect.
Flag this rating appears for users who can use Paminga's AI features.
Notifications
Each user chooses how they hear about GTM activity in their Notification Preferences, under Social Listening. Each event can be sent by email, to the Notification Center, or as a banner:
| Event | When | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Assigned to you | A post is assigned to you | On |
| New chat message | A new message arrives on a post assigned to you | On |
| Flagged for discussion | Someone flags a post in Reply Guy for discussion | Off |
Flags go to everyone in the account, so that one is opt in.
