Email Clients Dashboard
The Email Clients dashboard shows where your recipients open your emails: on what kind of device, and in which email client. That answers the questions that shape your email design. How much of your audience reads on a phone? Is Outlook on the desktop worth the extra testing time? Has that changed this quarter?
The Pulse shows the device breakdown at a glance. This dashboard is the full version.
Find it under Reporting › Dashboards › Emails › Email Clients.
Choose What to Look At
Three controls sit at the upper right.
- Metric picks the breakdown:
- Top Devices (the default): opens by device type
- Desktop/Laptop Clients: which desktop email programs opened your emails
- Web-Based Email Clients: which webmail services
- Mobile Phones
- Tablets
- Total/Unique Opens switches every view between Total Opens and Unique Opens.
- Set Date Range defaults to the last 30 days.
What the Dashboard Shows
- The pie chart shows each category's share of opens. Hover a slice for its count and percentage.
- The summary table beside it lists each category with its opens and Percent.
- The line chart below shows each category day by day, so you can spot a shift (a new phone model, a client update) as it happens.
- The daily table at the bottom lists each day in the range with one column per category.
Download the Data
The download icon above the daily table saves that table as an Excel file. It holds the current metric and the opens type you selected, one row per day.
