DatasetMeasure
What a metric measures over time. FLOW: not a level — it counts or rates what happened in each period. Whether it adds up from period to period still depends on its aggregation: a SUM count does; a rate or a distinct count does not. STOCK: a level (how many there are), which never runs as a total — adding the periods up counts the same things again in every one.
